How do I know if my ads will play on the boards I’ve chosen?

Well… You don’t.

Not for sure, anyway. There is no guarantee that, just because you’ve set your campaign to target a given board (or boards) that your ads will definitely play on those boards. Most of the time, it will play on the boards you’ve chosen, but there are exceptions where your ads will either play on some (but not all) of your boards, or not play very frequently on some boards.

Don’t worry, you won’t spend any credits on ads that don’t play.

This is the magic of the non-guaranteed model of ad serving. I serve ads to boards that request them from me, in real time. In other words, if a board is actively requesting ads, and you’ve scheduled your ads to run on that board at that time, I will attempt to serve your ad to that board. If, however, for any reason the board is not requesting ads, I cannot serve your ads no matter how hard I try.

The benefit of this model is that you’re only charged for the ads that play - i.e. you don’t have to commit upfront to a contract and booking. The disadvantage of this model is that someone who can commit to a contract and booking might just be able to buy up all the available space on the billboard, thereby preventing you from being able to advertise on there.
