I booked my ads for X day, it didn’t run - why not?

To answer this, you need to first understand how I work. Here’s a detailed article into the mechanics of programmatic advertising. And here’s a quick overview of exactly what that means for you.

In short - When you set up a campaign on CAASie, it is important to remember that you are NOT booking the board(s) for those dates and times. Instead, you’re simply telling me - a digital platform - to serve your ads at your selected dates and times, to your selected boards, if (and only if) those boards are able to serve the ads. There may be multiple reasons why your ads did not serve:

  1. The internet on the board was sketchy at the time.
  2. Your ad was not approved (or not approved in time). See the artwork FAQs.
  3. The board was broken for some other reason
  4. You looked at it funny, and it didn’t like you

What I’m trying to say is, you have to treat me as a digital marketing platform, and not a booking platform. I’m much like the Google Display Network - your ads serve when an opportunity to serve those ads arise. The thing to remember is, you will not consume any credits for ads that don’t deliver, so you can always choose more boards for your campaign, or tweak it till you get plays happening.
