Summary

This tutorial explains how to review and analyse the performance of your digital ad campaign using a campaign dashboard. Key steps include:

Overview: Check your campaign’s overall performance, including the number of plays, estimated reach, and total spend on the “Overview” tab.

Detailed Performance: Dive deeper by selecting the “Performance” tab, where you can view a graph showing how many times the campaign played within a specific date range.

Board-Specific Data: Access insights for individual boards (digital screens) to see which are playing or not. By clicking on a specific board, you can get a breakdown of plays by the hour and more granular play details, like the cost per play.

Hourly Cost Breakdown: View the average and maximum cost per play, displayed by hour. You can explore this data to monitor spending across different hours.

Data Export: Download the campaign performance data as a CSV file for offline analysis by clicking the download button.

0:01 - When you run your campaign, you’ll be able to see the campaign performance on your dashboard, on your campaign dashboard. When you, uh, uh, click on the overview button, you’ll see the number of plays that your campaign has had.

0:15 - You’ll also see the estimated reach for the number of plays that you have. You’ll see the amount that you’ve spent on your campaign, the credits that you’ve spent on your campaign.

0:27 - You can drill further down into how the campaign has performed by clicking on the performance tab here. Once you’re on the performance tab, you’ll be able to see your, the graph on how the campaign played.

0:42 - So, in this instance, I picked a date range of 23rd of April to the 30th of April and the campaign had played 272 times on the 25th of April.

0:55 - If I click on the bar, you’ll be able to see the number of plays per minute. By the hour on the 25th of April.

1:04 - Now, if I go to the boards, you’ll be able to see which of my boards are playing and which of the boards that are not playing.

1:13 - Now, each of those bars are interactive as well; you can click further into the bar. For example, you’ve got this, uh, 478-335 Lamar board.

1:26 - If I click into that, it’ll tell me on the 25th how many plays I had on that particular board. So you can see that on the 25th, I had 101 plays.

1:36 - If I click further into it, you can see by the hour how the ads played out. You can see, uh, for example, between 11 and 12, I had 8 plays, and between, uh, 1 and 2, I had 15 plays.

1:50 - I can also see the cost per play. Now, on average, on the 25th, I spent about 48 cents per ad play.

2:01 - And then I max that I spent was $1.14. If I click further into it, it’ll give me by the hour how it panned out.

2:10 - So, you can see that between 8 and 9, the, the average that I paid was 88, uh, cents, and the max that I paid was 88 cents again.

2:21 - Uhm, on the, uh, between, uh, 10 and 11, the cost per play was on average 30 cents, while the max that I paid was 47 cents.

2:32 - You can see the way you’re spending your, on your campaign across the hour when you click further, deeper into the campaign.

2:41 - Those bars, if you click further in, it’ll give you, uh, a further breakdown of, uh, the ad plays. Uhm, you can also download the performance on the, uh, as a CSV file by clicking on the download button here.
