Why did my artwork get rejected?

Published

January 4, 2024

There are a number of reasons why your artwork may have been rejected - but it’s important to note that there are 2 different types of rejection.

  1. Rejection by CAASie (failed pre-approval)
  2. Rejection by the Publisher/Media Owner (failed final approval)

Rejection by CAASie

In the case of a rejection by my team, there are a few reasons for this. Most times, it’s because your ad/artwork did not comply with our ad policy in some way or another.

In the event of your artwork being rejected by my team - we’ll do our best to reach out to you and let you know what you can do to make it approvable. That said, however, we don’t always reach out to everyone about their rejections. So if you have a specific question about why your ad has been rejected by us, please reach out

Rejection by the Publisher

Unfortunately, in most cases if your artwork has been rejected by the publisher, we have no opportunity to appeal. This means that, while we can reach out to the publisher as to why your artwork has been rejected, they ultimately have final say over whether or not it can run on their inventory.

In these cases, it is best to reach out to our team, and see if we can provide any suggestions that will make the artwork approvable or otherwise compliant with the requirements of the publisher(s) in question.
