Responsibilities

  • Technical & AI Leadership: Directing our tech stack with a heavy focus on AI integration and automation to enhance our marketplace efficiency.
  • Product Ownership: Bridging the gap between "cool tech" and "marketable product," ensuring every sprint delivers tangible commercial value.
  • Scalable Engineering: Designing and deploying maintainable applications that can handle our rapid expansion.
  • Team Management: Leading, mentoring, and high-energy coaching of the dev team to maintain a high shipping velocity.
  • Strategic Communication: Distilling complex technical hurdles into concise, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Commercial Oversight: Working closely with leadership to ensure technical roadmaps align with revenue goals and user growth.
  • Requirements

  • Technical Mastery: 6+ years of professional experience with deep expertise in our core stack (React/Node/Mongo/AWS).
  • AI Fluency: You don't just use ChatGPT; you understand how to leverage LLMs, vector databases, or machine learning to solve real-world product problems.
  • Product Instinct: Experience in product management or a "founder-ready" mindset where you prioritize user experience and business impact.
  • Commercial Acumen: A sharp understanding of the business side of tech—you know how to balance technical debt with speed-to-market.
  • Management Pedigree: Proven experience leading teams, conducting tight code reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • The "X" Factor: You are a concise communicator and a high-energy individual. You bring momentum into the room and can explain a month of work in three bullet points.
