This tutorial explains how to use bulk selection to quickly and efficiently select digital screens (or boards) within a specific radius for a campaign. Here are the main steps:
Bulk Selection Setup: Define target areas by entering a specific address or selecting points of interest on the map. Multiple target radii can be added, ranging from 100 meters to 10 kilometres, based on your audience’s travel habits and budget considerations.
Radius selection: Adjust the radius size according to the expected audience travel distance. For example, a 2-kilometre radius may work well for a super-local audience.
Initial Board Selection: The system calculates the total number of available boards and provides a cost estimate. For example, 597 boards might cost $1,000 per hour.
Refinement Using Filters: Refine the selection by applying filters, such as venue types (e.g., gas stations, convenience stores, grocery stores), to target boards more aligned with your campaign objectives. This can significantly reduce the number of boards and costs—for instance, 23 boards might cost $21 per hour after filtering.
Review and Finalise: Review the selected boards to ensure they fit your campaign needs. Remove any unsuitable boards manually. Once satisfied, save and continue to proceed with the campaign.
This method streamlines board selection, ensures relevance, and keeps costs aligned with your campaign goals.
0:01 - Bulk selection is a really quick and easy way to select all of the boards within a certain radius of a key area or point of interest.
0:09 - So you can see I've got these two regions here. One of them is our office address and the other is just the centre of Brisbane.
0:16 - If I had a list of addresses that I was interested in, I could load those up here or I could just type it in here as well.
0:23 - So let's just say the Cold Coast. And now we've added another target radius down here. Now in terms of the size of that radius, that can be anything down to 100 meters, all the way up to 10 kilometres.
0:41 - And you would judge this based on how far you think your audience is going to travel, or if they're sort of, ah, budget constraints you might have.
0:47 - So I would say probably about 2 kilometres is what I would expect for a super local audience to travel on the day to day.
0:57 - Now you can see here that we have 597 boards, which would cost about $1,000 per hour. And what I'm going to do now is refine that selection so that it's more targeted towards my audience.
1:10 - Or towards my product. So let's have say that I am selling a food product and I can sell that at gas stations, convenience stores and grocery stores.
1:21 - And that's going to significantly limit the number of boards available within those areas. So you can sort of see there are 23 boards now.
1:28 - And you can see there's only $21 per hour. If I was happy to go ahead with that, I would just hit save and continue now.
1:36 - But I can also review the selection as well. And make sure there's no board in here that doesn't make sense for my campaign.
1:44 - I just removed it. Just those ones. And so now you can see we only have the 20 boards.
